Welcome to Adélie Sweets and Co.!
My name is Steph and this is my small business, supported by my beloved fiance and soon-to-be husband, Matthew. We have a senior kitty named Siri who is very much a part of our small family. I’ve been baking since the age of thirteen. One day I dyed a batch of vanilla cake blue that overflowed in the oven and stuck to the bottom of the cupcake pan. When I managed to scoop out a cupcake and frost it with crudely made frosting, I tasted it and to my surprise, it tasted like cake! While it wasn’t pretty, and I spent the better part of an hour cleaning the burnt batter from the bottom of the oven, I’d already begun to brainstorm what I could do better the next time. It didn’t take long before a spatula became my first love and through thirteen years of dedication, I found a passion for culinary arts and lost myself in everything I had to learn! I get better every day, and I never let my failures discourage me. For me they’re just a chance to learn. Above all, I strive to get better for you, my future customer and friend, so that my baked goods can bring you and your loved ones closer together. My menu will be ever expanding, and I hope you’ll join my journey and grow with me as I tackle treats and bring them from our igloo to yours.
